We regularly flush water mains as part of our commitment to providing you with high quality drinking water. It’s important to clean water mains from time to time to remove any potential build up of sediment in the pipes.
Will my water supply be interrupted?
No, we should not need to turn your water off to flush the water mains.
How does this affect you?
When we have finished flushing in your area, you may temporarily experience dirty or cloudy looking water from your tap. This is completely normal and can be removed by running the tap at the front of your property for a few minutes until the water is clear.
