Learn more about our health, safety & wellbeing programs for staff.

At North East Water, we prioritise the safety, health, and wellbeing of our employees. Our commitment to zero harm is embedded in every aspect of our workplace, creating an environment free from bullying and harassment. Here's how we achieve this:

  • Certified OHS Management System: We maintain an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management System certified against the International Standard ISO45001:2018. This ensures that our work environment is in compliance with global safety standards.

  • Psychological Safety: Our commitment extends to the psychological safety of our staff, aligning with the International Standard ISO45003:2021. We implement processes that focus on the mental health and wellbeing of our team members.

  • Health and Wellbeing Program: Our Health and Wellbeing Program is certified against the Victorian Health Workplaces Achievement Program. This program emphasises the holistic health of our employees, covering physical and mental wellbeing.

  • Specialised Training Ground: North East Water provides its staff with training tailored to the water industry, ensuring that our team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Watch our training ground video below.
