Position Information

Salary
  • $65,028 to $75,160 plus 12% superannuation, depending on skills and experience
Hours per week
  • Full time, ongoing (Monday to Friday).
Location
  • Primarily based in Regional Headquarters in Wodonga.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Candidates must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a foreign national with authorisation to work in Australia
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Successful applicants will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including a police check and/or pre-employment medical and functional testing where applicable.

 

 

Due to an internal career progression, we’re currently recruiting for a pro-active and supportive team player to join our Property Services team!

 

The Property Services Officer assesses and processes applications and agreements for build over easements, water and sewer connections, water information statements, and property asset plans. You will be responsible for providing information and service related to these items in an accurate and timely manner while maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality.


Our ideal candidate will be pro-active and informative with the ability to display a strong commitment to working as part of a team.

 

This role is a full-time ongoing opportunity, including a monthly RDO and flexible work options.

 

A snapshot of your day

  • Responding to customer enquiries over the phone, email and face-to-face
  • Assessing and processing applications and agreements for:
    • Build Over Easements
    • Water and sewer connections
    • Water Information Statements
    • Property asset plans
  • Invoicing customers
  • Meter fleet management
  • Interpreting building and as-constructed plans.

  1. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and collaborate and interact with other internal staff to deliver business outcomes.
  2. Excellent communication skills both on the telephone and face-to-face with the ability to negotiate.
  3. Excellent computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  4. Well-established time management skills with the ability to set priorities, plan and organise work efficiently to achieve specific deadlines.
  5. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough research and investigation.
