Salary
  • $65,028 to $75,160 plus 12% superannuation, depending on skills and experience
Hours per week
  • Full time, ongoing (Monday to Friday)

Mandatory Requirements
  • Candidates must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a foreign national with authorisation to work in Australia
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence

The Operations & Fleet Support Officer is a newly created role that will work closely with our Operations Business Advisor to provide administration support to our operations business unit including the general manager, senior leaders and operators.

This role will support the management of our major plant and fleet including organising servicing and maintenance, supporting procurement, and collecting and maintaining registers to support budget delivery and reporting.

Our ideal candidate is a pro-active, highly organised, and supportive administration superstar!

This role is a full-time opportunity, including a monthly RDO and flexible work options.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the general manager, senior managers, team leaders and operations staff.
  • Assist with the collection, maintenance, and management of fleet and major plant data.
  • Assist in delivering major plant and fleet capital programs by supporting planning, budgeting, and procurement processes.
  • Support fleet administration and operational requirements, including servicing and maintenance.
  • Provide administrative support for operational purchases, ensuring adherence to procurement processes.
  • Support operational meetings and workshops, including preparation, organisation, and dissemination of documentation.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to new staff in the use of administrative systems such as finance, records management and asset management systems.
  • Support Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings with agendas and minutes, including the recording, tracking, and delegation of actions, and liaising with relevant internal stakeholders.

  1. Your demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, including effective time management and organisational capability within a complex and demanding work environment.
  2. Your demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the organisation, from operational staff to senior management.
  3. Your ability to solve problems and exercise sound judgement and decisions in line with broader corporation goals and objectives.
  4. Your high-level of experience in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn new systems as required. Experience with TechOne, AMIS, and RMS (is highly regarded but not required), along with the capability to coach and support others in their use.
  5. Your experience and ability to provide high-quality administrative support and demonstrated experience working effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
