About the role

The Customer Information Consultant provides a welcoming, courteous, comprehensive, efficient and effective service to customers of North East Water. All duties will be undertaken in a proactive and informative manner, whilst continually displaying a strong commitment to working as part of a team, a willingness to assist colleagues without prompting and a desire to reach and exceed unit objectives and targets.

Key selection criteria

To be in consideration for this position please address in your application how you meet the following key selection criteria:

  • Previous experience in a customer information/contact centre position;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work as a cohesive team member;
  • Flexibility in managing workload across the customer information unit;
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Databases, Spreadsheets etc.)

Skills

Relevant experience in a customer service oriented organisation. A Certificate III in Customer Service, Business Administration or equivalent is desirable, but not essential.
