About the role

The Capital Investment Officer plays a vital role in supporting the Capital Program prioritisation process particularly through the analysis of spreadsheets, programs and finance, and identifying and applying for funding opportunities.

This role is a full-time opportunity, including a monthly RDO and flexible work options. 

In this role you will:
•    Oversee the Capital Program prioritisation process.
•    Identify and prepare applications for government grant opportunities.
•    Coordinate the business planning process for capital projects.
•    Assess the financial affordability of projects.
•    Ensure the funding required for capital programs is reflected in the Long-Term Financial Model.
•    Assists with the performance reporting of the annual five and ten year capital works programs.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Ability to understand financial impacts of choices and actions.
  • Ability to research, identify and apply for government grants.
  • Project or program management experience - Experience with capital works programs is highly desired.
