Benalla sewer network operating normally

Benalla’s sewer network is operating normally after heavy rain and flooding from the Broken River infiltrated the system.
The infiltration resulted in a sewer spill in Plum Court between October 4 and 5.
The spill area has been cleaned and disinfected and the sewer network is now operating within normal parameters.
North East Water notified the Environment Protection Authority Victoria of the incident.
