Sewage spill in Wodonga

North East Water has cleaned up a minor sewage spill in Wodonga that occurred on Tuesday 26 May 2026.
The spill originated from a sewer access point on McGeoch Court and entered a nearby stormwater drain and House Creek.
Remediation works at the site have been completed, and warning signage has been installed advising people to avoid contact with the area for several days.
Sampling of the stormwater system and House Creek have been undertaken to assess any potential impacts.
The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) has been notified.
