Sewage spill cleaned up in Wodonga

North East Water has managed a minor sewage spill in Wodonga, which occurred on Wednesday 23 September 2026.
The spill came from a sewer access point on Heatherly Court and entered nearby House Creek.
The site has been cleaned up, and water sampling has been carried out to assess any potential environmental impacts.
As a precaution, signage has been installed and the public is advised to avoid the affected area for several days.
Environment Protection Authority Victoria has been notified.
