Sewage spill in Bonegilla

North East Water is responding to a minor sewage spill in Bonegilla that occurred on Tuesday 14 July 2026.
The spill originated from a rising sewer main on Camp Road and entered a nearby stormwater drain.
Clean-up and remediation works are being completed in the affected area. Water sampling and monitoring will also be carried out to assess any potential environmental impacts.
The Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) has been notified.
