Cath Botta to retire from role as Board Director and Chair

A champion for the local and Victorian water sector, North East Water Board Director and Chair, Cath Botta, is retiring from her role at the end of September after a remarkable 11 years of service.
Cath's inspirational leadership, her technical expertise in agriculture and soil science, and her commitment to community engagement, has helped drive many positive outcomes for North East Water over the years.
Highlights have been Cath's leadership of North East Water's Climate Resilience Plan, our Independent Aboriginal Board Delegate program and award-winning engagement for our 2018-26 price period.
Managing Director, Jo Murdoch, says; "Cath has been a wonderful role model, mentor and support for many at North East Water and she will be missed by all."

Victorian Water Minister, Harriet Shing, is expected to announce a new Chair for our Board in the weeks ahead.
