Important information for Tungamah customers

Update: A huge thank you to everyone in Tungamah who reduced their wastewater flows over the past 24 hours. With your help we were able to reduce the chance of sewage being spilled into the environment. Feel free to now start using your washing machines, dishwashers and showers as normal. Thanks again for your support during this challenging period.

Due to stormwater infiltration of our sewer system in Tungamah, some customers may notice that their toilets and sinks aren't flushing or draining as normal.
We need your help to reduce the volume of water being sent to sewer while flood levels are high.
We ask that you please stop using washing machines and dishwashers and refrain from taking baths or showers. This will help take load off the system and reduce the amount of sewer spills.
