Position Information

Salary
  • $78,527 to $88,313 plus 12% superannuation, depending on skills and experience
Hours per week
  • Full time, ongoing (Monday to Friday).
Location
  • Primarily based in Regional Headquarters in Wodonga.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Candidates must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a foreign national with authorisation to work in Australia
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Successful applicants will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including a police check and/or pre-employment medical and functional testing where applicable.

 

 

The Property Services Advisor provides highly valued advice and support to the Property Services team and external stakeholders on complex cases, enquiries and applications relating to:

  • Water and sewer connections
  • Build over easements
  • Water information statements
  • Property asset plans

This role is a full-time, ongoing opportunity, including a monthly RDO and flexible work options.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating tasks through the Property Services inbox and customer cases in Salesforce.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including consultants, builders and other trades people on the connection of water and wastewater assets.
  • Providing guidance to the Property Services Officers on complex and technical applications and enquiries and resolving complex enquiries as required.
  • Tracking and prioritising applications received from customers.
  • Providing advice on building and as-constructed plans.
  • Assisting with complaints and Energy & Water Ombudsman Victoria (EWOV) matters.
  • Assessing and processing applications and agreements for build over easements, water and sewer connections, water information statements and property asset plans.

Key Selection Criteria

  1. Ability to manage time, set priorities and deliver outcomes while guiding and supporting the team to achieve their priorities.
  2. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to gain co-operation and assistance from customers, members of the public and internal stakeholders.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to undertake research to provide support with complex cases.
  4. Knowledge and understanding of property servicing ideally from a utilities or infrastructure perspective.
  5. A degree or diploma with relevant experience or substantial relevant experience.
