Chlorinated water was introduced to the Myrtleford reticulation system from August 3rd.
The chlorine in the water leaving the treated water storage is at very low levels and is being closely monitored across the system.
You may detect the chlorine in your water supply, particularly in the shower when it is released in the steam.
Please be assured that we are continuing to optimise the treatment to reduce this impact.
The pipework is being regularly flushed to reduce any dirty water impact. If you experience any dirty water at your residence please contact us on 1300 361 622, at nerwa@nerwa.vic.gov.au, or on our SMS feedback number 0407 784 687.
