About the role

The Wellbeing & Injury Management Advisor assists with the development and implementation of North East Water’s Employee Wellbeing programs that support the physical and mental wellbeing of our people. The role also provides injury management and return to work support to staff suffering work and non-work related injuries. This role requires the capacity to liaise and work with external agencies in pursuit of building upon a physically and psychologically safe and healthy workplace.

Key selection criteria

To be in consideration for this position please address in your application how you meet the following key selection criteria:

  • A suitable qualification and/or relevant experience in an injury management, return to work environment and/or staff wellbeing is desirable, but not essential. 
  • Your experience in providing expert and proactive guidance, technical advice and education to leaders and injured people on best practice early intervention, injury management and workers compensation is desirable. Or a willingness to embrace learning and development opportunities in this space.
  • Your passion and experience in delivering innovative wellbeing experiences for people while they work.
  • Your ability to work and communicate with a range of people and demonstrate a customer focused attitude.
  • Your excellent research, investigation and analytical skills and the ability to identify solutions to challenging issues.
  • A current driver’s licence is essential.
