About the role
The Wellbeing and Injury Management Advisor plays a vital role in enhancing the physical and mental wellbeing of North East Water’s employees through:
- Driving a pro-active best practice injury management framework focused on early intervention, recovery at work and holistic support
- Renewing and implementing North East Water’s Health and Wellbeing Plan
- Championing employee support programs
- Overseeing the implementation of staff wellbeing programs
- Proactively promoting psychological safety across the Corporation
- Providing expert advice and support to all levels of staff regarding Health and Wellbeing
You will be part of our People & Culture team and build positive relationships with all levels of staff across North East Water. Including regular site visits to outdoor operational teams across our beautiful north east region to foster a culture of care, inclusion and resilience.
Key Selection Criteria
To be in consideration for this position please address in your application how you meet the following key selection criteria:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to build relationships with employees from all levels of an organisation.
- Your ability to research and develop contemporary wellbeing oriented initiatives and programs to improve employee experience.
- Your ability to maintain a working knowledge of applicable legislation, regulations and industry best practice, and their application in the workplace.
- Your experience in providing expert and proactive guidance, technical advice and education to leaders and injured employees on best practice early intervention, injury management and workers compensation.
- Your relevant qualification and/or relevant experience in an injury management and return to work environment.
