About the role

The Procurement Coordinator will reposition the general goods and services procurement function of the Corporation, in line with the Corporation’s polices and will aim to deliver best practice procurement in accordance with our social procurement and sustainable sourcing obligations.  This position plays a key role in supporting staff in the organisation with contract and tender documentation and analysis of spend categories and associated reporting. Reporting to the Manager Finance, the role is also responsible for the management of the Corporation’s motor vehicle fleet replacement program and associated reporting.

Key selection criteria

To be in consideration for this position please address in your application how you meet the following key selection criteria:

  • Your extensive knowledge of and experience in contract administration, including the development of specifications, tendering documentation, management of the tender process, the evaluation of tenders and probity.
  • Your understanding of key processes involved in government procurement frameworks and their implementation
  • A degree in Business, Administration, Accounting or related field with experience as a Procurement and/or Contract Manager or related position
  • Your ability to interrogate financial data sets and analysis of spend by categories to create efficiencies in the procurement process
  • Your ability to provide specialist advice and guidance on procurement related issues that support our risk and corporate governance practices
