About the role

The Team Leader, Strategy leads a high-performing team to plan and oversee the strategy and planning of the organisation.

In this role you will manage a small team and focus on leading, aligning and monitoring strategy and planning across the business, developing and maintaining key organisational strategic plans, programs and projects, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that strategic opportunities are leveraged and risks are managed. 

This role is a full-time, ongoing opportunity, including a monthly RDO and flexible work options.

Key selection criteria

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of skilled professionals to achieve high performance, strong collaboration, and quality business outcomes.
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in strategic planning approaches and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of the strategic issues facing the business and the broader water industry.
  • Demonstrated skills in program and project management. 
  • Strong influencing and relationship building skills, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, Geography, Social Science, Public Policy or similar.
