About the role

The Asset Management Information System Officer will support and assist in the effective and efficient functioning of North East Water’s Asset Management Information System (AMIS). You will be responsible for ensuring field teams have access to productive and efficient work management solutions and the resulting operational data is accurate, complete, relevant, reliable and timely to support whole of business decision making, leading to improvements in service delivery to our customers. Reporting to the Asset Management Information Systems Coordinator, the AMIS Officer will also provide support, guidance and training to staff in the use of AMIS throughout the business.

Key selection criteria

To be in consideration for this position please address in your application how you meet the following key selection criteria:

  • Proven experience and working knowledge in using computerised Asset Management and Works Management software systems or GIS to manage asset data and/or associated functionality.
  • Awareness of asset management principles and practice in relation to the acquisition, operation, maintenance and disposal of infrastructure needs.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, focussed on continual systems improvement and satisfying internal customer requirements.
  • Customer focus - Ability to coordinate and interact with internal customers in a positive and supportive manner and able to influence the voice of the customer across the business.
  • Current Australian drivers licence.
