About the role

The Asset Management Information System (AMIS) Data Officer will support and assist in the effective and efficient functioning of North East Water’s Asset Management Information System through the entry and verification of data to ensure it is accurate, timely and complete. Reporting to the AMIS Coordinator, the AMIS Data Officer will also be responsible for providing guidance, training and system support to staff utilising the system throughout the organisation.

Key selection criteria

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to collaborate and interact with internal customers in a positive and supportive manner
  • Experience capturing and maintaining data within a Geographical Information System (GIS) or asset management software system or at least 2 years in a comparable role with relevant experience to the position requirements and outcomes
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills and communication skills
  • Current Australian drivers licence.
