Sewage spill in Myrtleford

North East Water crews are managing a sewage spill in Myrtleford this morning.
The spill occurred from a manhole in Robert Street and has impacted a short section of footpath.
Works to clear the blockage is complete and the affected spill area has been cleaned up and disinfected. Signage and barricading have been erected and we are advising people to avoid contact with the area for several days.
The Environment Protection Authority has been notified of the spill.
