North East Water

The key principles of the our community engagement are:

We have numerous ongoing community advisory committees throughout the region. These Committees have been set up to act as a liaison between North East Water and the community, providing the Corporation with community input regarding issues relevant to them and their town.

There are currently advisory committees operating in:

• Wangaratta
• Bright District
• Yackandandah
• Mt Beauty
• Myrtleford

North East Water also regularly utilises Project Reference Groups to liaise with the community and key stakeholders to provide the Corporation with input regarding specific projects, as they are required.  Currently we are working with an External Reference Group regarding the development of the Wastewater Strategy.
